Retirement Savings Credit
Help you to calculate How Long Will My Retirement Savings Last. This calculator estimates the future value of your retirement savings by applying compound interest to your current savings and monthly contributions, and then adjusting for inflation to show the value in today's dollars.
How to Use:
- Current Age & Retirement Age: Determine the number of years until retirement
- Current Savings: The amount you have saved today
- Currency: Select the currency for your calculations
- Monthly Contribution: The fixed amount you plan to save each month
- Annual Return (%): The expected average annual growth rate of your investments
- Annual Inflation (%): The average expected annual inflation rate. This adjusts the future value to reflect today's purchasing power
Example: Age 30 with $10,000 saved, contributing $500/month until age 65 (35 years). Assuming a 7% annual return and 2.5% inflation:
Nominal Future Value ≈ $815,000. Inflation-Adjusted Value ≈ $340,000 (in today's dollars).
Note: This is an estimate. Actual results may vary due to market fluctuations, changes in contribution amounts, taxes, or fees. It's a planning tool, not financial advice.
